RAD Piano 440 was founded to provide unparalleled piano tuning and repair services in Nottingham. Now established in Blackpool, led by a highly skilled blind tuner relying on acute aural perception.
My mission is to serve piano owners and musicians with precise, personalised service rooted in professional training and dedication to musical excellence.

With a CMIT diploma from Newark College and membership in the Association of Blind Piano Tuners, our tuner combines formal training with exceptional hearing ability to achieve superior tuning and repairs. Experience attentive care tailored to your piano’s unique needs in every service.
Before and during your appointment
Preparation
Before I arrive, please ensure the piano is cleared of any objects like music, ornaments and lamps. Set them safely aside.
Please also ensure there is sufficient space to rest the case parts which need removing during the appoinemnt.
I will need the environment as quiet as you can; try to leave the vacuuming or laundry until later.
During the appointment
I'll bring all the tools needed to service the piano. I will inspect the piano and assess any minor repairs which need to be carried out.
You'll lear me tuning the piano, it'll take around an hour, however I may be longer if you've booked a pitch raising service.
I'll clean out any dust or dirt on the piano and replace the caseparts, ensuring I treat the piano respectfully to avoid damange.
I'll also ensure extra care is taken when moving case parts on and off the piano to protect your home and posessions.
